How Sephora describes the Big & Healthy Lip Polish range:
"This bestselling, lip polish instantly creates the look of fuller, more voluptuous lips with luminous shine. Vitamins A and E help keep lips soft, smooth, and protected while the tingling sensation reminds you that it's working."
Yes, my bottle is almost empty!
I love the formula of these Lip Polishes, they add a minty tingle to your lips, which I quite enjoy. These glosses also are supposed to have a plumping effect. My lips are already quite large, so I don't look for any plumping benefits in my glosses. I also don't really look to see an increase in the size of my lips, so I can't really comment on that aspect of this gloss!
When I first saw this shade in the tube, I didn't think it was anything too exciting, a nude shade with some shimmer. However, I love how this shade looks on my lips. I've received many compliments on this gloss, even from strangers!
These Lip Polishes last on my lips for quite a while, about 4 hours. However, they do not withstand eating, drinking, etc. The formula is very smooth, and not at all sticky or uncomfortable. I don't choose to wear a balm underneath these since they are moisturizing on their own. These glosses have a doe-foot applicator, which makes application really easy. I've always preferred brush applicators, but I actually really like these doe-foot ones!
The look that this gloss adds to my lips is fairly natural, nothing too daring or over the top. But this is the look that I like to wear on a daily basis, and that's why I've been loving this gloss. My sample sized tube is almost empty, but I can definitely see myself picking up a full size tube soon!
If you're looking for a very shiny, hydrating lip gloss, I would recommend checking out this line from Buxom. The line has a wide range of shades, so I'm sure everyone would be able to find something to suit their tastes. If you've tried any glosses from Buxom, please leave me your recommendations! I want to try out more shades since I've had such great luck with them already. :)
