I love Soap & Glory's packaging, it's too cute! I like that this scrub comes housed in a tub, it just makes application so easy. And with a tub you are able to scoop up every last drop of product! I have to admit, that the colour of this scrub scared me slightly. Flake Away is a yellow solid block with brown/black specks. Not pretty! However, the actual product and results are amazing.
How Soap & Glory describes Flake Away:
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Apply a handful of Flake Away on to damp skin and massage in circular motions until most of the grains are gone. Rinse well, pat dry and apply body glossing oil or moisture butter. (Careful! Avoid application over irritated skin or abrasions, as salt scrubs can sting.)"
Flake Away doesn't have a strong scent, which I was slightly disappointed by. I really fell in love with the scent of Scrub 'Em and Leave 'Em, so I was hoping that Flake Away would be similar. The mild scent is reminiscent of Soap & Glory's Hand Food, so it is very pleasant, just faint.
I scoop out a small amount, and use it all over my body in the shower. I fell in love with this product the very first time I used it! The oils in this scrub left my skin feeling smooth, soft, and hydrated. I think that you could definitely use this scrub and then skip the moisturizer. This scrub is the perfect balance, not too gritty and harsh, but not too gentle that it's not effective.
I've been so impressed by Soap & Glory's scrubs, I think they're the best I've ever used! Flake Away retails for $18.00 for a 300ml jar, and can be found at Shopper's Drug Mart in Canada. In the States, I think you can find Soap & Glory products at Sephora. Have you tried any scrubs from Soap & Glory? Which ones do you recommend? :)
