Kat Von D True Romance Eye Shadow Trio in Dreamer

Kat Von D has recently released a few new eye shadow palettes, and I have one to share with you today! Her True Romance Eye Shadow Trio in Dreamer* is a beautiful trio of neutral shadows with great pigmentation.

These shadows are very pigmented and creamy. This is my first time using any eye shadows from Kat Von D, so I didn't know what to expect. Happily, I am quite pleased with this trio! I used Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Barely Branded as a base, and applied these shadows over top. That combination made my shadows stay on my eyes all day long. I didn't experience any creasing, fading, or smudging!

I really like this palette for an easy neutral eye look. Since there are only three colours in the palette, you won't have a ton of variety. However, I think this is a great palette for anyone who is just getting into makeup, and doesn't want to be overwhelmed by options. I really like that this trio contains three finishes, a pearl, a matte, and a glitter. So even with only three shades, you really can create an entire eye look with this palette. 

I've really been impressed by this trio! I don't know why I haven't tried anything from Kat Von D before, but now I'm wanting to try out more products from her line. If you have any recommendations, please let me know! Have you tried her True Romance Eye Shadows before?
