I’ve discovered a new favourite product from Lush! I’ve used their shower jellies in the past, but I’ve never tried Whoosh, until now. Shower Jellies are such a fun product, as they look like jell-o, but it’s actually soap!
"Looking for the drive to help you take on the world? Let Whoosh shower jelly sort out your cloudy, sleepy, head and give you a boost to wake you up. Our triple-citrus wobbly wash gets you squeaky clean with its invigorating and energizing blend of fresh lemon, lime, and grapefruit juices. And just in case your mental faculty is really struggling, we've thrown in revitalizing rosemary and balancing geranium to kick-start your senses even more. What are you waiting for? Rise and shine and get in the shower - the world is yours and the day awaits!
Shower jellies are some of our most innovative products and there are many fun ways to use them. You can crush them into a shower pouf to create a rich lather or rub them directly on your body. Try freezing (or chilling) them for an especially cool, refreshing shower or bath experience. Shower jellies also make great shampoos and add lots of softness and shine to hair."
I think what I love most about Whoosh is the incredible scent. If you take your showers in the morning, you will love Whoosh. It’s very citrusy, energizing, and awakening. Even though I shower at night, I still love this scent. Just opening up the tub of this shower jelly fills up my entire shower and bathroom with juicy, citrus scent!
I use Whoosh by breaking off a very small piece (you really only need a pea sized amount!), and using it as a traditional soap. Whoosh lathers very well, and creates bubbles. You can also use this in a loofah or shower pouf to create more bubbles. Lush also says that you can try freezing this shower jelly before using it, as it creates a nice contrast between the hot shower water, and the frozen shower jelly. I haven’t tried this before, but I think it sounds pretty cool!
I’ve been really enjoying using this shower jelly, and I really love pairing this with Lush’s Rub Rub Rub. The pair is incredible together! If you haven’t tried Whoosh before, I recommend giving it a sniff in your local Lush store, or picking up a sample. A 100g pot retails for $6.95 while a 240g pot retails for $11.95. A jar should last you quite a while, as you only need the tiniest amount of product to produce a great lather.
Have you tried Lush’s Shower Jellies before? Are you a fan? J
